More interesting data from Ben Laker, Vijay Pereira, Ashish Malik, and Lebene Soga  on the challenges and opportunities of hybrid work environments, this time focused on meetings. This extensive research data set highlights the obvious benefits on productivity when professionals work remotely, distracted by fewer meetings. However, it also points to some lessons on self awareness and preparedness that we highlighted in our third hybrid work blog, focusing on the importance of making sure senior leaders have the right tools and training to make the best use of essential, but shortened, in person work opportunities. The longer term impact of cultural signals that managers send in how they use in person work time cannot be underestimated, needs to be closely examined, and modified when necessary.
