Fund professionals may seek to switch firms to boost their base salaries to make up for 2015 bonuses, which are expected to be flat or down relative to those of the previous year. Bonuses for 2016 could continue to fall, according to industry consultants and recruiters. George Wilbanks suggests, “Go visit with a couple of your competitors and talk to them about your career.
