We can already see the impact in our search work as General Partners are upgrading their finance teams, recruiting new CFOs and Chief Accounting Officers to better manage this increased transparency and regulatory oversight. We were interested in the SEC’s final approach (see comments), which was more reporting and transparency-based, rather than highly prescriptive, as many of the recent mutual fund regulatory changes have been.
