Thanks to II for including me at the 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 at The Maybourne Beverly Hills this week. It was a really stimulating and informative two days in Beverly Hills. Once again, Jim McCaughan and the entire team at the Institutional Investor Asset Management Institute did an incredible job curating speakers to address the most important topics on CEO’s minds.

It was a privilege to be invited as a speaker/facilitator. The setting of an informal two days with peers against the backdrop of a curated set of speakers chosen by the Institutional Investor team to represent the topics of greatest interest to members is an amazing experience. The agenda reflected the breadth of decisions facing firms today. Conversations focused on the growing role of private markets, evolving distribution and platform models, capital allocation priorities, and how organizations are adapting their operating models to remain competitive. CEOs also shared perspectives on navigating geopolitical uncertainty and moving AI from experimentation toward measurable business impact. The feedback from the 50 member CEOs in attendance measured by their engagement in the constant dialogue in every session was outstanding.

Once again, the Aon McLagan/Deloitte Casey Quirk “State of the Industry” data presentation stole the show. Other discussions around technology disruption and acceleration of change, private markets and other alternative strategies, strategic partnership and M&A, and leadership and organizational management best practices in the C-Suite kept everyone engaged and participating non-stop.

Congratulations to Jim McCaughan and the rest of the AMI team for the superior execution of a great event!
